چکیده
This investigation analyzes the cost-benefit ratio of Transformation Field Analysis to compute elastoplastic behavior periodically perforated metal sheets. Evaluation accuracy and computational cost are analyzed by implementing a finite element approach coupled with technique for different meshes orders. Numerical studies employed compare standard Finite Element analysis Additionally, experimental data is validate results. The requires calculating strain concentration influencing tensors employing method. numerical results show technique's capabilities favorable scenarios, besides influence domain discretization order.

Fuzzy Finite Element Analysis using the Transformation Method
A promising approach to the problem of obtaining upper and lower bounds on the frequency response functions (FRFs) for structures whose parameters are not fully known has recently been published. The technique makes use of the modal superposition procedure in conjunction with a hybrid optimisation/interval arithmetic framework. One of the problems with this approach is that there is no self-val...
متن کاملFree and Forced Transverse Vibration Analysis of Moderately Thick Orthotropic Plates Using Spectral Finite Element Method
In the present study, a spectral finite element method is developed for free and forced transverse vibration of Levy-type moderately thick rectangular orthotropic plates based on first-order shear deformation theory. Levy solution assumption was used to convert the two-dimensional problem into a one-dimensional problem. In the first step, the governing out-of-plane differential equations are tr...

Analysis of Strain Inhomogeneity in Vortex Extrusion using Finite Element Method and Response Surface Methodology
The effect of geometrical parameters involved in vortex extrusion (VE) die design, on AA1050 aluminium alloy processed by VE were investigated using finite element analysis (FEA) and response surface methodology (RSM). For this, VE die length (L), reduction in area (RA), twist angle , and position of control points in Beziers' formulation (C1) were considered as input parameters and strain inho...
متن کاملPEIECWISE CONSTANT LEVEL SET METHOD BASED FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS FOR STRUCTURAL TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION USING PHASE FIELD METHOD
In this paper the piecewise level set method is combined with phase field method to solve the shape and topology optimization problem. First, the optimization problem is formed based on piecewise constant level set method then is updated using the energy term of phase field equations. The resulting diffusion equation which updates the level set function and optimization ...
